Most of the sculptures have never been presented in Belgium, so don't miss this
exceptional display.
Arne
Quinze in Ostende
The city of Ostende recently
invested 400.000€ in an art project by Arne Quinze, titled "Rock
Strangers", which is currently being installed on the dike, right near the
port of Ostende. This installation, composed of 11 monumental orange rocky
blocks made of metal, reaches up to a height of 11 meters. Today, the first 4
blocks of the artwork are being installed; a setup taking place within the
context of the triennial sculpture exhibition Beaufort04.
The monumental rocks will remain permanently in Ostende.

Abakanowicz, Arman, Beaumont, Vitali, Borer, Klinge, Pepper,... to name but a few... There is no admission fee as well as no fear of contact. The special perception when strolling through nature transformed by art is one part of the success story of Bad RagARTz. The experience of starting an emotional conversation with art in the middle of a village has its own very special charm – especially when nature changes from summer to autumn. Color and light in the middle of the mountains suddenly reveal a different impression of the sculptures. Three years ago 400 000 visitors were satisfied of their 6 km round tour. more info...
